The Society is a not for profit volunteer led organisation. It was founded in May 1981 by professionals working in leading Irish based companies and is a limited company registered in Dublin. It has developed significantly in the intervening years and currently has members throughout Ireland. IPICS has been instrumental in facilitating manufacturing professionals to keep abreast of the latest developments in manufacturing through its education, seminars and other training courses.
