IPICS networking events

Networking is a powerful way for people to understand what others in their industry are doing to overcome common issues, to identify opportunities and an enjoyable way to cut down barriers that may otherwise exist between people in different companies. At IPICS, we see the need for a functioning supply chain network in Ireland as key to raising the profile & competence level of the industry and also to facilitate our members professional development independent of their organisation. A calendar of events ranging from presentations, morning meetings, evening seminars, social events, CSR is maintained to foster & develop this network

Charitable/Social Responsibility opportunities

IPICS undertake projects of worked aimed at volunteering time & expertise for charitable causes which will leave a beneficial impact on the society we live in. IPICS members are skilled, hard-working individuals who have much to give back and IPICS seeks to facilitate those who are generous enough with their time and skills to do just that. Projects range from one-off short projects to longer term projects such as a recent activity where a large consignment of books was organised & sent to a school in Tanzania. Members can hear of new projects via updates but also can notify IPICS if they have projects and open it up to more members who can bring their expertise

Joining the IPICS national council

Members are free to contribute to the Supply Chain Industry in Ireland via their involvement in the national council of IPICS. There are a range of jobs that can be carried out and all members are encouraged to join and are welcome

Becoming an APICS certified instructor

Courses provided for IPICS members to become a registered APICS trainer are the Train the Trainer (TTT) course & the Learning Dynamics for Instructors (LDI) course. Both are facilitated by IPICS where master trainers carry out the courses in Ireland

APICS is a global organisation of which IPICS is the Irish premier channel partner.
